This is a shopping list I found in my local Publix:
eggs, coffee, flu shot, prunes, cheezits…
This is what I read on a sign I saw at my local library:
FLU SHOT CLINIC Friday, October 10, 2008 10 am-2 pm
Yes in Florida there are “flu shot clinics” in grocery stores, libraries, churches, community centers and pharmacies. Maybe it’s like that in every state, I don’t know. But I prefer to just bitch about Florida because I live here and it’ s my right.
I’m 100% pro-choice and that goes for flu shots too. The flu can be dangerous and I want everyone to stay healthy and vibrant so they can vote against McCain in November.
I’m just wondering why a working mom has to take to take her child to a clinic 15 miles away to get the immunizations required for school enrollment when it’s apparently not a health/safety issue to administer immunizations in a public place.
I’m thinking the next time I need lab work I could just pull up a seat in the cereal aisle. That would be swell. And maybe if it’s not too much to ask I could get a my teeth cleaned and a mammo while I’m at it? Because my time is valuable too.
